Is Easter just a refurbished Ishtar?

About This Site

The purpose of these musings is to help us 'everyday' Christians begin to understand biblical theology and discover how these beliefs intersect with current issues, church life and our relationships.

But belief (orthodoxy) is only the beginning. What really matters is how we live out our beliefs as a discipleship community. My prayer is that each of us will grow in right living/practices (orthopraxy) even while we grow in our orthodoxy & knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The topics I hope to cover aren't necessarily from the camp of easy answerism and sometimes may not appear to be black & white. However, my hope is that as we embark on this journey of discovery much discussion will result and that through conversation we will learn to love God with everything we have and love our neighbour as ourselves, all the while seeking answers in the Word.

I invite you to comment & raise a question (or two) as you check out this blog. I look forward to discovering what they are, what you think and what God has to say to us all.

So now... let's begin the journey.

"let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works." - Hebrews 10:24

(Note: All verses used are from the ESV unless otherwise indicated.)
